Position Title: Online Research Assistant

Type of Employment: Part-time (20 hours per week)
Working Hours: Flexible, with an average of 4 hours per day, 5 days a week
Location: Remote

Scope of Work: The Research Assistant will support online research of other companies and organizations. He/she will work closely with a senior expert and another assistant to ensure the delivery of high-quality documents.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Research:
o Conduct thorough research across various domains.
o Gather and synthesize information from multiple online sources.
2. Document Analysis:
o Analyze and interpret documents and other relevant materials.
o Summarize key findings and provide insights.
3. Data Analysis:
o Analyze spreadsheets and datasets using MS Excel and other statistical software.
o Identify trends, patterns, and insights.
o Utilize AI tools and statistical software where applicable.
4. Presentation and Visualization:
o Prepare compelling PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate research findings and recommendations.
o Develop infographics and other visual materials to enhance the presentation of data and information.
o Use visualization software to create charts, graphs, and other visual aids.
5. Report Preparation:
o Draft, format, and edit reports, ensuring clarity and coherence.
o Ensure all written materials are well-structured, grammatically correct, and free of errors.
Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in economics, social sciences, informatics or a related field. A master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of English, particularly in writing and editing.
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint is essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and present it clearly and concisely.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
